EverNote is an incredible application that allows its users to take notes and access them wherever they are, even from mobile devices. Not only that, it is available for MacOS systems, and if a note was created in a mobile device or using Windows it can be read as long as this application is presented.
EverNote lets users take notes, clip webpages, attach audio and photos using their mobile phones, create reminders, and record audio. Access to this information is possible thanks to data being synchronized with the Evernote web service and it is available to all client systems.
The product is amazing; it also does OCR on images, being able to read text from any image, for example, from pictures of products seen in stores, or whiteboards in meetings.
EverNote comes in two editions, Free and Pro. The Free version is limited to 40MB of monthly uploads of images and PDFs files only.
Compatibility for mobile devices includes only iPhone, Blackberry, Palm, and devices with Windows mobile.
The new features of this version include improved search and indexing, and also enhanced Thunderbird mailing templates. Besides, the images are now kept in their original formats.
